Tyrone Ladies confirm two Lidl National League Division 2 Fixtures for Healy Park

TYRONE’S senior Ladies have confirmed Healy Park, Omagh, as the venue for forthcoming Lidl National League Division 2 games against Laois and Kerry, while the Ulster derby between Tyrone and Armagh could also feature as part of a double-bill with the Tyrone and Cavan men’s teams at the Omagh venue.

TG4 All Ireland intermediate champions Tyrone have been regular visitors to the county ground in the past three seasons, although work on the Healy Park surface prevented games there in 2018.

Tyrone manager Gerry Moane was full of praise for St Enda’s club officials, who have been so easy to work with.

He said: “It’s great to be accommodated at the county ground, the Omagh club have been great, their Chairman Conor Sally attended our Ladies awards night last weekend and we have of course players and members of our backroom team from the club.

“We are looking forward to our first home game here in February against Laois, our last game with Kerry and hopefully if things work out we will welcome our neighbours Armagh here in March.”

Tyrone will play Laois at Healy Park in Round 2, on the weekend of February 9/10, while Kerry will make the trip to the Red Hands in Round 7 on April 7.
