Ulster Championship blown wide open

Ulster championship blown wide open

Donegal’s victory over Tyrone threw the TG4 Ulster Championship
wide open last Sunday in Enniskillen.

The excellent Maureen O’Donnell hit 2-06 to help her side record
their first ever Senior championship win by 2-09 to 0-12. This Sunday
will see the final two games in the round robin series with Monaghan
playing Tyrone and Donegal playing Down.

A win for both Monaghan and Donegal would see both into the final
and holders Tyrone out, while if Donegal and Tyrone win that would
mean a playoff between Monaghan/Tyrone and Donegal. A victory for
Down could also see them remain in the fight for a final placing
if Monaghan secure a win over Tyrone.

Unbeaten Monaghan look in the strongest position but it’s all to
play for on Sunday for what promises to be an action packed afternoon
in the TG4 Ulster Senior Championship.
