VHI Healthcare Senior All Ireland Club Championship Final

St Rynaghs GAA, Club, Banagher, Co. Offaly: Carnacon (Mayo) v Inch Rovers (Cork) 2.30pm

Last year’s beaten finalists Carnacon look extremely strong going into this final.  They boast a host of county players and the prolific boot of Cora Staunton who has carried her county form through to the Club Championships.  Inch also have pedigree in the form of Angela Walsh but the Mayo side’s wealth of experience may prove too much to deny the Rebelettes a monopoly at senior level.

VHI Healthcare Intermediate All Ireland Club Championship Final

St Rynaghs GAA, Club, Banagher, Co. Offaly: Mourneabbey (Cork) v Glen (Derry) 1.00pm

Glen re-graded to senior level this year so they will pose a serious threat to Mourneabbey’s silverware ambitions.  Glen’s youthful side is balanced with experience in key areas with Louise Glass and Kathy Conway expected to lead the way for the Mourne women.  Mourneabbey are a side jam-packed with youthful exuberance with a host of Minor All Ireland winners in the squad.  Mourneabbey walked the Munster Championship and eased past St Nathy’s of Sligo to get to final.
