Drumagh Sarsfields proved to be ‘Home Sweet Home’ for Tyrone captain Neamh Woods in the Tesco Homegrown National League Division One survival battle with Laois on Sunday, April 12.

Playing on her home pitch, the former All Star led Tyrone to a victory that secured their status in the top flight for 2016.

‘It was brilliant (for the club) to host the game and extra special for me to win today’, said Neamh.

Tyrone now look forward to meeting Cavan in the Championship and veteran Gemma Begley feels the Red Hands can have a bright future.

’There’s some great talent here and I have faith in the team. It’s all down to organisation and commitment’.
