Wexford Ladies footballers leave Clare in their wake

Wexford Ladies footballers leave Clare in their wake to reach
league semi-final Wexford 3-10, Clare 1-10 Wexford Ladies footballers
travelled to Cooraclare last Saturday to play Clare in the Suzuki
National League Division 2 Quarter Final and won on a scoreline
of 3-10 to 1-10. After the long journey, it looked like the Wexford
ladies found it hard to settle when they found themselves down
1-2 to 0-0 after only two minutes.

However, they seemed to settle down then and battled hard to establish
themselves in the game. After a great first half battle by Wexford,
they started the second half with a two point lead. Wexford fought
hard to maintain their lead throughout the second half and after
having two players sin binned they held on to win by 2 goals.
