Yoplait O’Connor Cup star Kate Kenny is The Croke Park/LGFA Player of the Month for March 2023

YOPLAIT O’Connor Cup star Kate Kenny has been honoured with The Croke Park/LGFA Player of the Month award for March 2023.

Offaly native Kate sparkled for DCU Dóchas Éireann as they captured the 2023 Yoplait O’Connor Cup title at the Connacht GAA University of Galway Air Dome in March.

Kate, 21, was in scintillating attacking form in the semi-final and Final as DCU DÉ captured a fifth O’Connor Cup crown.

Kate scored 1-4 in the semi-final victory over TU Dublin and followed that up with a haul of 1-10 in a Player of the Match display against University of Limerick in the Final on March 11.

Kate’s high-scoring exploits were then rewarded with a coveted spot on the 2023 Yoplait Ladies HEC All Star selection – and she received her award on March 31 at the Bonnington Dublin Hotel.

Kate, from the Naomh Ciaran club in Offaly was presented with her award this afternoon by Lauren Duggan, Revenue Manager, The Croke Park.
