Your County is Calling!

The Dublin Ladies Football Management Team have Organised a One Day Tournament in an attempt to unearth new players to participate on our Senior & Junior (aka Senior B) Panels for 2009.

In 2008 our Minor’s won Dublin’s first All Ireland. The Senior B were finalist’s in their All Ireland Championship. The seniors were Leinster Champions and unbeaten during their league campaign.

For the purpose of the competition Dublin has been split into four regions, Dublin North, Dublin South, Fingal and Dublin South West. The matches will be played on a blitz style basis of 20 minutes per half. All of the 2008 Dublin panel will be involved with their respective regional sides with specially appointed selectors.
Quotes from Gerry Mc Gill Dublin Senior Ladies Football Manager for 2009:-
“This is a great opportunity to see a lot of players playing at a certain level. It will be a blitz type tournament and if there are players who show up well it gives us an opportunity to have a serious look at them.” ” It’s vital that Dublin Ladies Senior football team moves forward and builds on the success of the past year, but now we are looking to strengthen up our squad and take it to the next level”
