Join in the Celebrations!

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association celebrates our 50th anniversary on Thursday 18th July and what an amazing 50 years it has been!

We are asking all clubs and counties to help us to celebrate throughout the month of July and mark the role everyone has played in the journey to date.

Who should take part?

We are inviting every club and county around the world to get involved. All LGFA units at home and internationally are encouraged to mark this special day.

What can you do?

Every club and county is welcome to mark this anniversary in any way they want to. This can be from an underage Festival of Football to family days and any other innovative ideas you come up with.

These will be celebrations for all members to be proud of and give an opportunity for families and friends to get together and celebrate the Association they all play a very important role in. It can also be a chance to invite potential new members from the community but most importantly to recognise the part that every member has played in the growth of LGFA over the past 50 years.

Can we register our event to include on LGFA list of celebrations?

We are encouraging everyone to register details of their event by clicking HERE or scanning the QR code below.

How should we promote our event?

We want everyone to know about all your events that are taking place so it is important to #LGFA50 on all your posts across social media and tag the LGFA social media pages on X, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok.
